Since its release in 2022 “Legacy” has become a certified afro-tech house anthem played across the house music spectrum from the soulful to electronic.

Now on vinyl for the first time, Yoruba Records are happy to announce this limited edition 7”.
Has legacy been on your mind the last two years? Not just what your potential mark could be on the world, but also, from those now gone? From those who pushed boundaries and created a space for you to reach newfound levels of self-expression and fulfillment? Has legacy been on your mind?

It is through this lens that Yoruba Records presents its upcoming single, appropriately entitled ‘Legacy’. The new track features label stalwart OVEOUS and Don Kamares, (a.k.a. veteran producer Marc Tilley).

Delivering a fierce and urgent call for connecting with legacies past, present and future, a reflective OVEOUS contemplates “for me, the culture means everything. The community, the music, the dance. All of it. So ‘Legacy’ was inspired by the culture and wanting to praise it for giving so many of us a space to release.”

This afro-tech house romp of a banger can only find a synergistic home on Yoruba Records. It’s the sound that is part of this label’s legacy.
